His career as a commercial insurance agent began prior to this association and has been focused on the development of industry specific workers compensation insurance programs. He has created programs for the firearms industry, the restaurant industry and the automotive industry. Barrett has a technical knowledge of workers compensation insurance claims handling and loss control. Barrett holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Diego State University.
