Elisabeth Georgeson, CPCU

Born in Seattle, Washington, her parents later moved the family to the Los Angeles area. Lis began her insurance career in Los Angeles in 1973 as an underwriter with the Industrial Indemnity Insurance Company. During the four years at that company she was trained and worked as an underwriter first in General Liability and later Workers Compensation. In 1977 she joined a Los Angeles brokerage firm working as an Account Assistant on some of their most complex clients, such as convalescent homes, construction risks and country clubs.

In 1980 Lis moved to San Diego and joined a North County agency as an Account Manager. Her duties called for an emphasis on the review and standards compliance of the agencies largest accounts. In 1986 she became a producer and partner of that agency. Over the next few years Lis developed a large book of commercial business, predominantly in the areas of Technology, Manufacturing Agricultural and Construction. In 1995 that agency was sold to a national firm; at which time Lis continued to service in both a management and production capacity. She joined the Michael Ehrenfeld Company in the late 2000.

She holds the professional designation of CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and is currently the secretary of the Vista Shadowridge Rotary Club and is active in various community organizations.
